Ever After Tales, a new Hollywood kids app developer, wins this year’s best preschool eBook award at the prestigious Kidscreen Awards 2016 with “Little Emily”, an interactive, animated eBook, based on the story by Eugene Trivizas. The ceremony took place on February 9th in Miami, Florida.

Up against nominees, Disney’s Story Central and PlayDate Digital’s My Little Pony, the up and coming Ever After Tales swept past the competition capturing the best preschool eBook award with a brilliant and heart-warming story, loaded with gorgeous designs, well crafted animation, music, games and interactivity.

“Little Emily” is a delightful interactive eBook about Emily who lives on a beautiful planet her father Alex painted for them, filled with sunflower jungles, pink hippos and peppermint lakes. Only the envious, nasty, vile Count Splodge and his Splodglings want to destroy the planet. “Little Emily” is about affection, creativity and hope, suggesting that just a cherry stalk is enough to bring back to life a whole planet that has suffered total destruction. The story is written by Eugene Trivizas, the author of a number of bestselling children books worldwide including, “The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig” and “The Last Black Cat”.
