"Klyme” was featured on NewsWatch AppWatch, which takes a look at the latest and coolest mobile applications on the iOS, Android, and Windows market. Andrew Tropeano, a host of NewsWatch AppWatch and mobile technology expert, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how it’s a reengineered weather app with social features.
Klyme has reengineered the weather app concept by giving users personalized weather tips based on their age, gender, and location. Tips include what they should wear, activities in the evening, and the local population’s mood about the weather. Klyme still shows the temperature and precipitation, but it also shows wind and visibility.
When a user swipes across the screen they see more pertinent information, including clothing, social sentiment, and activities. Because Klyme is a social app, users can post and share comments on the weather for others to see.
If they want to see an extended forecast, users can rotate the screen horizontally and they’ll see the seven day forecast. They can also see the next 24 hour forecast by swiping across the current weather.
Klyme is a great app for anyone to use, from the weather geek to an ordinary person. The app is free and available for iOS devices. To download or learn more about the app, visit the appstore and search “Klyme” or visit https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/klyme-weather-for-humans/id854081326?mt=8.
