Appy Pie, which owns and operates one of the leading DIY (Do It Yourself) app builders, now launches open beta version of its much awaited cloud based DIY game builder. With Appy Pie’s game builder users can now create very interesting games in just 3 easy steps. In the first step, the user must choose the type of game he is considering to create, like racing, fighting, sports etc. The second step asks for the game information, like its name, logo and description. The third step defines the characters of the game. Here, the user will need to create characters like the hero, enemies, obstacles and other collectables to boost the main player post which he can publish in his game to work for Mobiles. Once the game has been tested, it will be available for download on mobile phones via various sources like Appy Pie’s market place, Google Play, iTunes and other public app stores.
“We are using HTML5 & JS to create these mobile games so they are cross platform combatable and the games are built on one of the best open source game engine, Game Closure DevKit. With Appy Pie’s Game Builder Users will not just be able to create games but will also have the ability to monetize their game using iAds and AdMob.” said Abhinav Girdhar, Founder Appy Pie.
Appy pie, in its initial stage of game development is starting off with six exciting games, each with a different gameplay like first person shooting, gambling, puzzle, sporting game and an adventure quest.
