ARCIS Art Storage is pleased to announce the appointment of Roxanna Zarnegar as Director of Operations, Training and Development. Roxanna will be responsible for the leadership of the ARCIS operations team, including training and development. Additionally, Roxanna will be the designated administrator for the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) at ARCIS, interfacing with the Department of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

Roxanna brings deep art world experience to her role at ARCIS having served as Senior Vice President of where she directed a strategic redesign of its auction and private sales platform, garnering industry accolades as a Webby Award Honoree. Previously Ms. Zarnegar was Chief Operating Officer of Christie’s Americas, where she was responsible for client services, auction and gallery operations, logistics and production.

Most recently, Roxanna has provided strategic management consulting for the global art business and luxury markets, advising private equity firms on auction marketplaces and art market startups and taught at Parsons, The New School MS of Strategic Design + Management. Roxanna is an adjunct faculty member of Sotheby’s Institute of Art Masters in Art Business.

Zarnegar graduated from Long Island University with a BS in Business, then went on to receive an MBA in International Business from Franklin University Switzerland and CW Post University. During her term at Christie’s, Roxanna attended the INSEAD Executive Leadership in Art Program, becoming one of the leaders of Christie’s global strategy.

ARCIS is Manhattan’s premiere 110,00 square foot art storage facility and the first and only Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) designated for fine art and cultural property in the United States.
