Arctic Industries Completes Foamed-in-Place Upgrade
Arctic Industries invests in upgrading Miami manufacturing facility
MIAMI, Nov. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Arctic Industries, a premier provider in the cold storage arena has upgraded its Miami facility with state-of-the-art foamed-in-place (FIP) manufacturing capabilities. Although Arctic had limited FIP capabilities prior to the upgrade, the new equipment will allow Arctic to exclusively deliver FIP products to all customers. With this upgrade, customers benefit from shorter lead times at competitive costs with an environmentally friendly near zero-waste manufacturing process.
The investment represents how the industry bar has been raised with FIP as the leading method for cold storage panels and shows a focus on customer needs for the long term. Brian Murphy, CEO of Arctic, said about this upgrade, "Having the ability to deliver hard rail FIP walk-in coolers and freezers to our partners and customers has been the primary goal of the leadership team. The investment is already paying dividends in our network and will benefit our customers and the Arctic brand for many years to come".
Arctic also operates a West Coast manufacturing facility in Southern California since their acquisition of Duracold Refrigeration Manufacturing Company in August of 2018, where they also produce FIP walk-ins. With FIP technology being delivered now from both facilities, Arctic is strategically positioned from a product and geographical standpoint. "Now that we (Arctic) are a nationwide player in the industry, we will provide customers with even more exceptional choices and products" says David Grife, President of Sales.
Arctic Industries has been manufacturing walk-ins since 1981 and is among the leading walk-in cooler & freezer providers in the U.S. with representatives in North, South & Central America.
