This is a real honor and speaks highly of our dedicated team that works diligently to combine traditional values and innovative thinking so that we can become our client’s valuable partner for the long-haul . . .

Since 1993, the Big I and Reagan Consulting, an Atlanta-based management consulting firm, have studied the country’s leading agencies in six revenue categories. Agency selection for the study takes place every third year, and agencies are chosen through an extensive nomination and qualification process. When chosen, agencies receive the coveted “Best Practices Agency” designation, which is retained for three years. During that time, agencies submit comprehensive financial and operational data to the study group annually for review.

Brennan and Stuart and Esser Hayes are two of just 216 agencies awarded the honor. In order to be chosen, each agency had to be one of the 35-45 top-performing agencies in six revenue categories.

“This is a real honor and speaks highly of our dedicated team that works diligently to combine traditional values and innovative thinking so that we can become our client’s valuable partner for the long-haul – one uncommonly committed to their security and success.” says President, William H. Hayes.

Mark V. Stuart, President of Brennan and Stuart adds “Having this designation underscores what we have believed since our beginnings – that valuing our relationships with our customers and putting that at the forefront of all we do is essential to business success. We couldn’t be more pleased and humbled to receive such a high honor.”

The Best Practices Study was initiated by IIABA in 1993 as the foundation for efforts to improve agency performance. The annual survey and study of leading independent insurance agencies documents the business practices of the “best” agencies and urges others to adopt similar practices.

“We are proud of the accomplishments of these two member agencies,” says Brenda Case, ARM Chairman. “Both Brennan and Stuart and the Esser Hayes Group have been assets to our membership and have served as outstanding examples of the best that the insurance industry can be.”
