The AroundCampus Group Prepares for 41st Annual Sales Internship

The AroundCampus Group (AC), a college marketing company representing over 200 colleges and universities, is excited to celebrate its 41st anniversary and the recent launch of their 2.0 version of the AroundCampus website and mobile app. The 2015 Sales Foundation Academy will prepare AroundCampus sales interns for a B2B sales internship and will host a nationally recognized sales educator.

The AroundCampus Group (AC), a nationwide college-based marketing company, is excited to celebrate their 41st anniversary and to welcome the 2015 class of interns. The AroundCampus Group has a nationally recognized Sales Foundation Academy (SFA) that welcomes student interns each summer to work side by side with full time employees in order to prepare for their upcoming B2B sales internship. Training is to be held on the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill’s campus May 7th through May 16th.

Jeanne Frawley, Director for External Relations at the University of Cincinnati’s Center for Professional Selling will be this year’s keynote speaker. Prior to joining the University, Frawley was the Executive Director of The Sales Education Foundation and has dedicated her work to the profession of sales through university programs, sales research, public awareness campaigns and strengthened relationships between industry and academia.

In addition to learning from Frawley, students will be trained with The AroundCampus Group’s 7 Step Sales Process, which includes ethical sales practices, overcoming objections, time and territory management and much more. Once trained, students will return to their prospective campus’ and begin working with local businesses to introduce them to The AroundCampus Group’s marketing platform including a mobile app and website ad space in print publications for each school.

AroundCampus 2.0 better bridges campus and community, providing a tool for students, staff, faculty, prospective students and visitors to familiarize themselves with the local business community surrounding an individual college campus. The app features coupon deals, polls, GPS directions, and detailed business profiles to create a comprehensive guide which encourages interaction and exploration.
