There will be no additional fee for the expanded reports. will now include jail and prison inmate records as part of their background check package, the company announced yesterday.

“As the year ends, we feel this is a time to see what we can do to make our reports as useful as possible,” an spokesman said. “What we've heard from our customers is that beyond arrest records, they'd like to know if the person has been incarcerated. We can understand that. Being in jail or prison changes people, and sadly, it's rarely for the better.”

The expanded reports will include where the person was in jail or prison, how long they were there, when they were released, and if they are on parole, he said.

“We think this will give people a much clearer picture of the person they are doing a background check on,” The spokesman said. “And we feel that the more information we provide to our customers, the more valuable our product will be.”

There will be no additional fee for the expanded reports, he said.

“We think the time and effort we put into expanding our database will pay enough dividends in new and repeat customers that we don't need to increase our overall charges,” he said.

The expanded reports are available now on, he said.

“We are good to go,” he said.
