Anima Domus Celebrates 15th Anniversary with Designer Showcase Event During Art Basel Miami Beach

Invitation-only event will highlight Italian- and Swedish-designed furniture, and photo exhibition to benefit the Children’s Bereavement Center. Event will feature Italian and Swedish design showcases exclusive to Anima Domus.

Anima Domus, South Florida’s destination for contemporary Italian home furnishings, will celebrate its 15th anniversary with an invitation-only showcase event during Art Basel Miami Beach on Thursday, December 5th, in the Miami Design District. Being held at the brand’s new 4,800-square-foot showroom, the event will bring together six contemporary furniture brands with pieces being imported directly from Italy and Sweden. To complement the designs, artist Bret Lopez will create a temporary installation of his large-scale photography. Of the artworks on display, one will be raffled during the event with proceeds of the ticket sales being donated directly to Children’s Bereavement Center.

The charitable event will feature six brands that are exclusive to Anima Domus: Cierre Imbottiti, fine leather upholstery; CLEI, modular and transformable space saving solutions; Fiam Italia, a line of furniture produced in curved glass; Porada, functional and forward pieces handcrafted from wood; Presotto Italia, unique wall units and furnishings inspired by nature; and Henzel Studio, a brand of luxury handmade rugs debuting its Diamond/Nordic Raw artistic rug collection for the first time in the United States.

The Children's Bereavement Center (CBC) provides free Peer Support Groups for children, young adults, and adult caregivers after the death of a loved one. Groups are open to anyone who has lost a parent, sibling, grandparent, relative, or friend as a result of illness, accident, suicide, or homicide. Groups are open to children age five through young adult as well as adult caregivers. The CBC is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation, community referral and education resource, offering information and trainings to education and health care professionals and agencies.
