ASI Association Survey: Member Engagement Stagnant/Declining for 40%
Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) July 08, 2014 -- Advanced Solutions International (ASI), the largest, privately-owned global provider of not-for-profit software, today announced the results of a recent survey of association executives conducted by independent IMTS Global Research. The ASI-sponsored 2014 Member Engagement & Performance Survey identifies key priorities and challenges that associations are facing and provides strategies to help resolve them. IMTS conducted live phone interviews with senior-level executives concerned with improving operational performance at 154 mid- to large-sized associations in the United States with operating budgets of $2.5 million or more. The survey posed 10 questions related to membership levels, engagement, organizational goals, and the greatest challenges to meeting those goals.
ASI is releasing the results of the survey along with best-practice tips the company has uncovered from working with approximately 4,000 clients around the world to help associations get the most from the report findings.
“This survey has substantiated what we’ve been hearing anecdotally from clients for some time -- data siloes and a lack of integration between the association website and member management system can have an enormously detrimental effect on engagement and organizational performance levels,” said Edward Wendling, Global Director of Marketing. “We plan to continue to monitor these issues and share our findings with the association community on a regular basis.”
