The Minnesota Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is hosting the Designer Sample Sale at International Market Square through Saturday. Another upcoming interior design event held locally in Minnesota this weekend is the newly re-named Twin Cities 20th Century Design Show and Sale. This event, now being called “From Mission to Modern,” is perfect for those working and passionate about home decor and design. The two-day event will run from Saturday, September 20th through Sunday, September 21st. This show has expanded and will exhibit a large range of home decor from the Mission furniture and designs of the American Arts and Crafts movement to the decor of other 20th-century movements. This includes a look at designs and furnishings of Art Moderne, Art Deco and Mid-Century origins from the 1930s to 1960s.
“From Mission to Modern” commences at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds Progress Center Building, Falcon Heights from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, September 20th. The schedule for Sunday, September 21st is 11:00am to 4:00pm. The admission fee is $7.
