Heritage Woods of Belvidere, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will host a Grandparents Day Carnival from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 8.
The community, which is located at 4730 Squaw Prairie Rd. in Belvidere, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid.
“Help us celebrate the grandparents in our community by attending our carnival,” said Robin Bertram, Director of Marketing at Heritage Woods of Belvidere. “We have a fun-filled afternoon planned for the children, and of course, the young at heart.”
Clowns, face painting and games are planned as part of the entertainment.
Cotton candy, popcorn and other treats will be served during the carnival, which is free and open to the public.

Heritage Woods of Belvidere is the only senior living community in Boone County, Illinois, that is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program.
