Heritage Woods of Belvidere -- a BMA affordable assisted living community -- is hosting a Mardi Gras Luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. on Feb. 17.
The community, which is located at 4730 Squaw Prairie Rd. in Belvidere, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid.

The community chef, Dwayne Dittmer, will prepare gumbo, shrimp po'boys and cream puffs for everyone to enjoy.
This luncheon is free and open to the public.

Heritage Woods of Belvidere is the only senior living community in Boone County, Illinois, that is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program.
