Prairie Living at Chautauqua, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will host a Thanksgiving Celebration from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 27.
The community, which is located at 955 Villa Ct. in Carbondale, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
The feast will include turkey, ham, green bean casserole, candied yams, turnips, mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Dessert will include a choice of pumpkin or pecan pies.
The lunch celebration is open to the public; there is no charge to attend.
