Heritage Woods of Dwight Affordable Assisted Living to Host Therapeutic Tai Chi Classes
Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) October 15, 2013 -- Heritage Woods of Dwight, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will begin hosting therapeutic tai chi classes for seniors. The first class will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Oct. 22.
The community, which is located at 701 E. Mazon in Dwight, Illinois, serves seniors of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
The workout routine includes gentle stretching, restorative breathing and moderate movement.
Gary Paruszkiewicz, the developer of the workout that benefits those who have balance issues, will visit the community to share his story and introduce everyone to the program.
“Join us at Heritage Woods as we introduce a fitness program that will help older adults become stronger and healthier,” said Becky Gish, Resident Services Coordinator at Heritage Woods.
