Heritage Woods of Flora Affordable Assisted Living to Host Medicaid Presentations
Bradley, IL (PRWEB) October 19, 2013 -- Heritage Woods of Flora, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will host informational Medicaid sessions on Oct. 29 and Oct. 30.
The community, which is located at 1003 W. 4th St. in Flora, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid.
An attorney from the Senior Law Center will discuss misconceptions about Medicaid qualifications. Guests will also learn about veterans benefits that cover the cost of assisted living options for veterans and their spouses.
The Oct. 29 session will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Oct. 30 session will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Refreshments will be served during the presentations, which are free and open to the public.
“We invite senior citizens to stop by for one of the Medicaid sessions that we have planned for later this month,” said Heritage Woods Administrator Lucas Sigrist, adding that the community often hosts informative presentations to improve the well-being of residents and older adults who live in the Flora area.

Heritage Woods of Flora is the only senior living community in Clay County that is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program. The community is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
