Heritage Woods of McHenry, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will celebrate Oktoberfest from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 11.
The community, which is located at 4609 W. Crystal Lake Rd. in McHenry, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
Entertainment will be provided by Tom Stanfield, a local artist who plays the guitar and sings popular oldies.
Guests are invited to enjoy beer and pretzels during this free event.
