Astrapi Corporation and the Naval Information Warfare Center Execute a Research Agreement
The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC)-Atlantic and Astrapi Corporation executed a Limited Purpose Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (LP-CRADA) to explore Astrapi's Spiral Modulation.
DALLAS, March 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Astrapi Corporation is pleased to announce the execution of a Limited Purpose Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (LP-CRADA) with the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) – Atlantic to explore Astrapi Corporation's Spiral Modulation. Spiral Modulation provides a technology to dramatically increase the flexibility of communication systems symbol waveform design and to use this additional flexibility to address key spectral efficiency challenges in telecommunications. This initial LP-CRADA targets exploration and validation of Astrapi's simulation and first-generation Software Defined Radio (SDR) results and establishing a research pathway for collaboration on second generation SDR development.
