Many of our members are either using or considering Office 365 so it’s a natural adjustment for our group
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 09, 2015
For over six years, Atlanta SharePoint User Group (ATLSPUG) has provided a forum for like-minded professionals to connect on topics and training related to SharePoint. In conjunction with Microsoft’s cloud first, mobile first strategy for customers, the group announced it will be expanding meeting and training topics to include Microsoft’s cloud platform Office 365. This includes cloud versions of Microsoft’s most popular desktop and business productivity solutions such as SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Lync Online, Project Online, CRM Online and Office 2013 Pro Plus. The group will also continue focusing on Azure, educating the community in areas such as Apps, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
“The purpose of our user group is to not only help members leverage today’s technologies such as SharePoint on-premises, but also educate them on what is coming so they can be ahead of the curve. Our members are finding the need to become better educated on Microsoft’s cloud solutions as their employers and customers make the shift to the cloud. Many of our members are either using or considering Office 365 so it’s a natural adjustment for our group,” said Dan Attis, Co-Founder of the Atlanta SharePoint User Group.
To help with the expansion effort, the ATLSPUG organizers have solicited assistance from individuals who have demonstrated expertise in Office 365 and related solutions. “As someone who has greatly benefited from attending the Atlanta SharePoint User Group meetings, I am excited to have the opportunity to give back to the group by helping the leadership team expand into other topics that are top of mind within the Office 365 community,” says David Huseonica, President at Cloud|AG.
