Clear Sound, Inc. Celebrates Over 30 Years as Preferred Audio Visual Production Vendor for Major Philadelphia Race Events
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) March 14, 2014 -- Philadelphia is home to a number of large, well-known race events, and, for more than 30 years, Clear Sound has provided superior event and sound production services as part of that tradition. Among them:
•The Philadelphia Marathon – one of the country’s premier racing events. Clear Sound is proud to have been part of it for its entire 20-year history, providing sound support at the start and finish lines, along the course, and at more than a dozen stages throughout the race.
•The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure– an inherently hopeful 5K Race/Walk held annually on Mother’s Day with the dual mission of fighting breast cancer and empowering breast cancer survivors and their loved ones.
•The National MS Society Mud Run/MuckFest – a 5K obstacle course not for the faint of heart – involves crawling through trenches, climbing over barriers, and slogging through mud pits to raise research money to find a cure for multiple sclerosis, as well as support those living with the disease. As a corporate sponsor, Clear Sound has developed a close relationship with the Society over the years, and has been involved in a number of their events, including the Walk and Zumbathon.
Race events such as these pose a number of unique challenges – a large amount of information, such as start times, safety issues and race results, needs to be communicated over a large outdoor area to a large group of people. The sound system is the heart of the communication and makes the delivery of the message seamless. In addition, that sound system provides opportunities to convey historical tidbits and music to enhance the event and entertain the crowd.
Race planners have come to rely on Clear Sound’s extensive experience in making the planning for such complicated events easier, by asking planners the right questions. How many announcers, music sources, recorded messages, advertisements will need to be heard? Are those sources all physically in one place, or are they in different locations? How many people will need to hear and understand the messages, and how physically far apart are they?
A number of components will be required to provide the answers to these questions - wireless microphones systems, speakers, power generators, and knowledgeable technicians to coordinate with other supporting vendors ahead of time, set it up and take it down on time, and operate the system during the event. Clear Sound has it all, leaving one less aspect for the race planners to worry about.
"Clear Sound is always willing to give us the best quality service for the most reasonable price, and they are a pleasure to work with. We give Clear Sound our highest recommendation!"
