AURO Appoints Kevin Liang as New Chief Financial Officer for Canadian Enterprise Public Cloud

Liang joins AURO in conjunction with his current role at the Canadian Web Hosting, and will work closely with the operations, product management and engineering teams to lead initiatives focused on expanding their cloud presence as well as ensuring effective internal and external controls are in place to ensure compliance and comprehensive business processes are in place for clients adopting their next generation Canadian hosted OpenStack public cloud being launched this month.

As Chief Financial Officer, Liang will be responsible for developing and continuously evaluating both short and long-term strategic financial objectives. This includes product development roadmaps and managing compliance and integration efforts that enable enterprise customers to seamlessly utilize the OpenStack Cloud Hosting platform for their work loads. He will also be responsible for the evaluation, design and implementation of stringent cloud security and governance features including continued compliance with Canadian data privacy laws and SSAE 16 certifications. Liang joins AURO as a thought leader in cloud technologies and has been busy building a robust infrastructure community in Canada that has been focused on making Canada a technology leader. In his role as Founder and CTO of Canadian Web Hosting, he was responsible for leading multiple product and cloud inititiaves including the launch of CACloud.
