On the back of increasing interest and adoption of its Tacera IP Nurse Call system and unified care communications platform Austco UK will be showcasing its latest addition to their range of products.
Built on an IP backbone, similar to the networks used in data or packet switching, like office LAN's or the Internet, where an every growing array of software applications can be delivered gives the system an ability to scale and deliver feature rich applications as and when they're needed.
The latest addition to the family is the IP-DUTY station which extends nurse call functionality beyond conventional systems to include workflow capabilities, rounding and enhanced voice communication as well as allowing the integration of patient records or care plan data from a single touch screen smart device which can be customised to each user, department or ward.
IP-DUTY Feature Breakdown:
- Virtual Call Points to replace standard call points, trigger rounding, facilitate workflows.
- Call List Annunciator with and without chime annunciation.
- VoIP (Intercom and Dialler) for voice communications between nurses & patients.
- Integrate patient records & resident care plans with nurse call events and interventions.
Whilst these devices are typically wall mounted the software can be used on other tablets or smart devices allowing staff to have access to the system on the move.
