Author Solutions, LLC, a Penguin Random House company and the world’s leading provider of supported self-publishing services, announced Wednesday its Founding Sponsorship of the Bay Area Book Festival scheduled for June 6-7 in Berkeley, California.

The festival’s founders stated vision is to create “the largest, most innovative, and most inclusive free literary event to take place in Northern California.” The ten city blocks hosting the event will feature a variety of attractions including a Kid’s Arena, Teen Stage, Cooking Stage and interactive games that encourage literacy skills, in addition to tents featuring more than 100 literary exhibitors. The gathering will also feature up to 150 authors from around the world.

Organizers estimate 100,000 book lovers will visit the festival. Author Solutions will display a selection of titles self-published through its imprints and representatives will be on hand to provide authors with information on self-publishing.
