Marji writes, “As if daring her, the hummingbird flew in front of Rabbit; she chased it. Rabbit stopped when the hummingbird flew up and away. Rabbit looked around. She was standing near a large tree in someone’s yard. Before making it to the sidewalk, loud sounds and banging erupted.”
She continues, “Rabbit watched closely as a large dragon wearing an apron and a smaller dragon dressed in shorts and a shirt filled an open doorway. Rabbit quickly backed out of their yard. The smaller dragon looked small as he stood next to the other dragon; however, in Rabbit’s eyes, he still looked large. Rabbit studied the house. ‘Wow,’ Rabbit muttered, pulling her ear to the side. ‘That’s the biggest house I’ve ever seen.’ Startled, Rabbit could feel the ground shake under her. She watched the dragon hop across the lawn.”
