CLOVIS, Calif., July 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A survivor details her journey to connect with the strongest version of herself and heal from personal trauma and suffering in Patti A. Williams' inspiring true story, "Becoming Bearheart: One Woman's Journey to Find Peace after Trauma" (published by Balboa Press). The book is available for purchase at: https://www.amazon.com/Becoming-Bearheart-Woman%C2%92s-Journey-Trauma/dp/1982220767.
Including true crime, psychological facts about trauma and historical facts about Native Americans, "Becoming Bearheart" describes how Williams' mother's murder catapulted her onto a spiritual path seeking inner peace. Williams chronicles her life from the horrifying moment in March 1986 when she learned her mother had been murdered through the aftermath as the world she knew slowly began to fall apart.
Overwhelmed with profound feelings of loss, heartache and abandonment, Williams embarked on a spiritual journey that took her to the deepest, darkest places of her soul where she had to courageously battle to find her way back into the light and onto a path of peace. Led by the spirit of her mother, Williams discloses how she eventually connected with her inner-warrior to rediscover her personal power, the meaning of self-love and ultimately her true life's destiny.
Williams wants her readers to learn "To never give up. To never stop searching for what you need. To be open to alternative ways when all else fails."
