Applied Behavior Analysis therapy provider to support expansion through a company-friendly, revenue-based funding agreement
CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 29, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Autism Behavioral Institute (ABI), a rapidly-growing provider of Applied Behavior Analysis "ABA" therapy for children with autism, has landed a significant investment from Decathlon Capital Partners. Details of the revenue-based funding transaction were not disclosed.
Currently located in five states, ABI will use the funding to expand into new markets and increase working capital to support adding new insurance payors. ABI is a provider of the only evidence-based treatment for autism (ABA therapy) supported by the U.S. Surgeon General.
ABI's mission is to help maximize each child's strengths while supporting their unique challenges. ABI provides services in clinics, homes, and community-based settings. ABI will repay its investment from Decathlon Capital Partners through ABI's future revenues, thanks to Decathlon's dilution-free, company-friendly funding approach. ABI was not required to give up any control of the company, and no equity or ownership was exchanged for the growth capital.
