FSU Credit Union Offers Fundraising Program for Local Schools and Non-profits
Tallahassee, FL (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- Florida State University Credit Union is making strides towards giving back to the communities they serve. The FSU Credit Union is proud to announce that they are offering a fundraising program for local school groups, sport programs and other non-profit organizations throughout the Big Bend area.
The fundraising program is simple. A unique fundraising code is assigned to participating organizations. An amount of $50 per approved auto loan (financed or refinanced, new or used) is donated back to the organization when the code is used at the loan closing. Auto loans can be fulfilled in person at any of the credit union's seven locations or electronically via their website at http://www.fsucu.org.
If a child’s savings account is opened at same time as loan closing, an additional $25 is given to the organization for a total of $75, and $25 is deposited into the new savings account.
All marketing for those who sign up is provided by Florida State University Credit Union and is free of charge. There is no minimum amount of groups, programs and organizations that can participate, the program is easy to administer and there are no up-front costs.
The FCU Credit Union’s newest fundraising program is in addition to their already prospering Borrow 4 Less Give Back More campaign. An amount of $10 per auto loan (closed without a fundraising code) is donated to a local charity. Since July 2013, over $25,000 has been given back to the community.
With the seventeen groups that have already signed-up to participate in the new fundraising program, Florida State University Credit Union anticipates a successful outcome. Complete details regarding the fundraising program can be found online at http://www.fsucu.org/promo/CommunityGiveBack.ASP.
