DALLAS, Dec. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- PMG, an award-winning digital agency that works with the world's most recognized brands, announced two key appointments to its senior leadership team today — Ryan Boomsma as the company's first chief financial officer and Parks Blackwell in the newly created role of vice president of marketing and client development. Both executives will help propel PMG into a new phase of growth and innovation as the company continues to help brands deliver meaningful advertising experiences across all digital platforms.
"Ryan and Parks have tremendous industry experience and strategic approaches that will be huge assets in establishing PMG as the leading agency for brands that want to make human connections in a digital world," said George Popstefanov, founder and CEO of PMG. "I'm looking forward to working with them both as we continue to grow and expand our agency globally."
Boomsma will drive the financial and strategic planning and operations of PMG as the agency continues its expansion. Prior to joining PMG, Boomsma honed his skills in financial planning and analysis, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions as vice president of finance and treasurer at Active Networks and as director of corporate finance at Match.com. Before that, he served as director of financial planning and analysis at Travelocity and earned his MBA from the University of Kansas.
"I was attracted to PMG because of its culture and its commitment to long-term growth built on sound operating principles," said Boomsma. "I'm excited to build on our ascendant trajectory by leading PMG's development of best-in-class finance, accounting, and strategy teams."
Blackwell will lead further development of PMG's consumer-first sales and marketing strategy, elevating the agency's brand narrative (Digital Made for Humans™) and driving meaningful results across all new partner engagements. She brings more than 15 years of digital marketing experience and over 10 years of partnerships and client development experience in high-growth agency environments. Blackwell previously served as a senior leader at Dentsu Aegis' iProspect, where she held multiple roles including vice president of new business and marketing and senior vice president and managing director of its West Coast operations.
"PMG is disrupting the digital agency landscape," Blackwell said. "Unlike any agency I've seen, we're focused on the end consumer and creating meaningful connections on behalf of some of the world's leading brands. I am thrilled to join this team and help accelerate PMG's vision on a global scale."
