Endeavour’s ERP consultants have specialized migration tools and methodologies to assist clients moving to the cloud (Migrating from Dynamics GP to Dynamics 365 Business Central), however the team has found that a number of clients are not yet ready to move to the cloud given the associated costs and effort. For many, upgrading and staying on their current Dynamics GP ERP systems for an additional 2-3 years or even indefinitely, has been their preferred option. Further supporting the choice to remain on ‘Great Plains’, the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics GP, version 18.3.xx, was recently released by Microsoft on October 5, 2020, with expectations and a defined roadmap for additional annual releases for years to come.
