The weekend also serves as the first module for the California College of Ayurveda, Level I: Ayurvedic Health Educator (AHE) Program. Students who take this module may enroll in the AHE program and the full tuition for this program is then applied to your education.
Instructed by Jessica Ferrol, a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, Herbalist, Pancha Karma Specialist and a Registered Yoga Therapist. She is the founder and owner of the Community Ayurvedic Herbalist Wellness and Education Center (CAH) in Pawcatuck, CT where she offers Ayurvedic Consultations, workshops and her line of hand crafted herbal products. She has a BA in Psychology and received her CAS certification from the California College of Ayurveda and the American Institute of Vedic Studies in 2003. As of 2006, Jessica has been a master teacher in the Distance Learning Program at the California College of Ayurveda teaching one on one with future CAS’s. Jessica is the Herbal Consultant on the board of advisors at AKASHA in Coltsneck, NJ, a member of the National Ayurvedic Medicinal Association, CAS at the Integrative Care Program of Women & Infants Hospital in RI and the Ayurvedic Advisor for Blue Buddha 108 Beverages.
