BackgroundCheck.us.org Launching Program to Help People Avoid Scam Artists
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) May 02, 2014 -- BackgroundCheck.us.org is set to launch a series of articles designed to help make sure that consumers do not become the victim of scam artists, the company announced yesterday.
“People come to us because they are worried about new people in their lives,” a BackgroundCheck.us.org spokesman said. “But they may not realize that people they already know may also be trying to scam them. We want to arm people with the information they need to know to recognize scam artists in their midst.”
BackgroundCheck.us.org will begin rolling out the anti-scam articles this week and eventually collate them into an anti-scam guidebook, he said.
“The bad news is that there are a lot of scam artists out there,” he said. “The good news is that it is fairly easy for people to spot the signs that scam artists give off if they know what they are looking for. We'll teach people what to look out for, so that their chances of becoming a scam victim become much, much lower.”
BackgroundCheck.us.org will also explain how the most common scams work so that they have an extra advantage when it comes to avoiding them, he said.
“The more people know about scams, the less likely it is that they'll become a victim,” he said. “We think that taking people step by step through scam operations will be a very useful resource for the average consumer.”
