Baker Electric Solar Names Two New Solar Energy Consultants
Escondido, Calif. (PRWEB) January 23, 2014 -- Baker Electric Solar, a San Diego solar company specializing in residential solar and commercial solar installations, is pleased to announce its added two new solar energy consultants.
Baker Electric Solar recently earned the 2013 Angie’s List Super Service Award - the award reflects an exemplary year of customer service. In addition, the North County San Diego solar installer was named one of Solar Power World’s 2013 Top 250 Solar Contractors in the nation. Baker Electric Solar’s award-winning reputation, family atmosphere, benefits, and the fact that it has invested in its own product – with a solar system on its roof, makes it an ideal organization to establish a career in the solar industry.
With continued growth and expansion comes the need to promote and/or hire more solar energy consultants. Nick Piro started with Baker in 2013 as a client development specialist. His performance and solar knowledge made him an ideal candidate to be promoted this January to solar energy consultant. Scott O’Hara joined Baker Electric Solar as a solar energy consultant also in January 2014.
A Baker solar energy consultant brings comprehensive training in solar project development, along with knowledge about solar equipment and financing options to the initial appointment with a customer. Their job is to educate homeowners and analyze the value of “Going Solar the Baker Way” on a case-by-case basis – matching the customer with the best fit in both solar product and financing.
“Both Nick and Scott are great additions to our team of solar energy consultants,” said Residential Sales Manager, Andrew Berlin. “We are coming off a record-breaking 2013. We know we need to continue to invest in experience and solar talent in order to meet the needs of our customers. Both gentlemen bring with them solution-based thinking and industry-proven skills.”
Nick Piro was born and raised on the West Coast – calling the Bay area and Bellingham, Washington home. He now resides in Clairemont, California. He received his associate’s degree from Whatcom Community College. When asked about his new position, he commented, “It’s a great time to be in solar – according to industry predictions, installations are set to rise by double digit percentages in 2014, and to my way of thinking, there’s no better company to be on board with than Baker.”
Scott O’Hara joined Baker Electric Solar this January. He brought two years of experience as a solar project developer to his new position as a solar energy consultant. Born in San Francisco and raised in San Diego, O’Hara currently lives just down the road from headquarters in Escondido. O’Hara shared, “It’s great to be working for a family company that brings a 75-year history of electrical contracting to the design and installation of our solar power systems. Customers can be rest assured that Baker Electric Solar will be around for the full length of their solar investment’s life and warranty.”
