Bambooti has introduced an innovative premium wooden skins that allow users to customize any design or logo directly on the skin, is now live on Kickstarter and raising funds to bring their project to life.

After previously designing a line of wooden sunglasses, Bambooti is a company dedicated to bringing together their passion for design with their love for nature. Seeking to promote a healthier relationship between humankind and the Earth, the company has introduced a premium line of wooden Macbook skins that uses only the finest, high-grade natural materials from natural renewable resources.

"At Bambooti, it's not all about making these cool designs,” says co-founder Pieter Van Moll, “Our skins are sustainably sourced because forest conservation is something that concerns all of us."

The result is a skin that seeks to inspire the fast moving tech world with a daily reminder to live in a more authentic and sustainable way. Each bambooti skin is handcrafted from natural and real wood, meaning no two skins will have the exact same palette or grain pattern. Every piece of wood that will be used to create the Bambooti skins derive exclusively from sustainably managed forests.

The skins manage to marry old world craftsmanship and woodwork with cutting edge technology. After being laser cut, each skin is hand sanded to create an ultra smooth and luxe exterior. The skins are then spray finished with natural vegetable oils which give the wood a fair, natural shine that allows the wooden skin to age beautifully over time. This also doubles as protection against water and dirt.

The skins are incredibly easy to install. By using the latest 3M Technology, the skin goes on seamlessly but can be easily removed or adjusted without leaving behind any sticky residue or damaging the Macbook’s natural finish.

Bambooti is taking their skins one step further by making each order completely customizable with custom layering that engraves logos or cutout designs to shine through the skin. Companies can order in bulk a complete set of skins complete with their logo for their employees, and users can engrave their initials or other favorite designs right on the skin.

Bambooti’s premium wooden skins start at $65 on Kickstarter with an additional charge for a custom design or logo of the user’s choice that will be engraved on the product. Multiple qualities and variations in including wooden sunglasses and iPhone cases are available at an additional charge.
