Pyramid Analytics Given Top Rankings by Customers in 2014 BARC Business Intelligence Survey

Top rankings in 16 unique categories of its three peer groups, over 90% of users would recommend to others and over 80% of Pyramid Analytics users say Business Intelligence gives them a competitive advantage to a “much better” or “better” degree.

Pyramid Analytics, a leading provider in Governed Data Discovery for Business Intelligence Analytics today announced its exceptional ratings from its customers in the 2014 BARC BI Survey.

The BI Survey 14 is based on the feedback of the product’s users, making these results objective and unfiltered. Pyramid Analytics ranked #1 in 16 unique categories of its three peer groups, including product satisfaction and customer satisfaction in the OLAP analysis and visual discovery peer group, performance satisfaction in the Dashboard and OLAP analysis peer group, chosen as the preferred standard enterprise solution in the OLAP analysis and visual discovery peer group and collaborative features in all three peer groups. The report also highlighted the fact that over 90% of users would either “definitively” or “probably” recommend BI Office.

The BI Survey 14 is based on findings from the world's largest independent and most comprehensive survey of business intelligence end-users, conducted this year. In total, 3,224 people responded to The BI Survey with 2,348 answering a series of detailed questions about their usage of a named product. Altogether, 34 products are analyzed in detail. The BI Survey 14 examines BI product selection and usage among users in areas including business benefits, costs, proportion of employees using the product, competitiveness, recommendation, innovation, performance, customer satisfaction and agility.

This is the 2nd time Pyramid Analytics was included in this survey and measured alongside well-known competitors including Tableau, Qliktech, Microstrategy, IBM Cognos, and Tibco Spotfire for OLAP Analysis, Dashboard and Visual Discovery Vendors.
