US Sports Camps and Nike Baseball Camps Head to UC San Diego for Summer 2015

US Sports Camps announces plans to offer the Nike Baseball Camp at UC San Diego this summer, June 28-July 1.

The setting couldn’t be more perfect for a truly memorable week of baseball camp.

Directing the Nike Baseball Camp is veteran Nike Camp Director Tom Myers, who serves as a Professional Scouting Supervisor for the Chicago Cubs. Over the years, Myers has spent time as a pitching coach and Associate Head Coach at Santa Clara University and UC Santa Barbara. Joining Tom is Nate Trosky. Trosky is employed by the Milwaukee Brewers and is a consultant for the German National team, Team USA (NTIS), and for numerous West-coast College and Universities.

“Coach Myers has directed and been a part of the Nike Baseball Camp network for many years,” states Mike de Surville, Senior Vice president of US Sports. “Under his leadership at the beautiful facilities of the University of California, San Diego, the setting couldn’t be more perfect for a truly memorable week of baseball camp.”

Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered, with an emphasis on fundamentals, to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
