Baxter Planning Expands in EMEA
Executive Appointments Signal European Push
AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Baxter Planning, the Austin-based service parts planning solutions provider, ramps up its international efforts by expanding its EMEA organisation.
Service Parts Planning specialists Carl Fransman and Philippe Thys join Baxter Planning as the company expands its European presence. Carl Fransman has been appointed Managing Director EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Philippe Thys as Director of Technology EMEA. Both gentlemen have many years of experience with the aftermarket, focusing on parts planning solutions, predictive analytics, and IoT.
"Carl and Philippe have deep knowledge and expertise based on a broad range of industries relative to service parts planning software. They are a valuable addition to Baxter Planning's team," said Morris A. Cohen, Panasonic Professor of Manufacturing and Logistics in the Operations, Information and Decisions Department, at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
"While Baxter Planning previously employed experts in EMEA for customer support, the new team expansion demonstrates the company's commitment to pursue and service new business with leadership in the market. Investing in increasing our global footprint by hiring the best candidates in the market gives us the ability to offer more than just software to our clients. Our team expertise, focus on service parts planning and continued involvement with our clients are core differentiators for achieving consistent and lasting success as is illustrated by our long-lasting installed base," adds Chuck Moeling, Baxter Planning's CEO.
Mr. Fransman will deliver a presentation, Connected Aircraft – The Impact on Maintenance and Uptime, at the prestigious Avionics Expo in Munich in March 2019 as part of Aerospace Technology Week. The panel discussion, Big Data & Cyber Security, will address the challenges facing the connected aircraft as the need for continuous online access for passengers and aircraft data produces vulnerabilities within the systems. The discussion is scheduled for Wednesday March 13th.
