Westshore Agency Launches New Charity Campaign to Help Provide for Local Families Fighting Cancer through the Village Project
Bay Village, OH (PRWEB) April 18, 2016 -- Westshore Agency, an insurance provider serving families of western Cleveland from offices in Bay Village, has announced the latest beneficiary of their ongoing community involvement program. The current campaign fundraises for Village Project, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to offering supportive services and nutritious meals to individuals and families engaged in fighting cancer. Village Project was begun in 2010 as a way to gather the community to minister to four neighbor families experiencing health crises by providing nutritious meals. Today, over 100 area families have received over 12,000 meals, and services have been extended to include yard clean up, housecleaning, dog walking, errand running and more. Village Project’s team of volunteers has grown to over 500, as people of all ages have come together to with the common purpose of sharing their smiles, support, hope, skills, wisdom and energy with neighbors battling cancer.
