"The Voice" Contestant Jacquie Lee Wears BBT Style’s Astare Rhinestone Headband with Style During Show Stopping Performance of “Cry Baby”
Lincoln, ND (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- Update: Jacquie Lee once again wore BBT Style on "The Voice," this time during a performance of "I'll Be There" with Tessanne Chin and Will Champlain. The headband is called "Bridgit Style."
Popular hair accessory company BBT Style (http://www.bbtstyle.com) of Lincoln, North Dakota received international exposure this month, when its Astare Rhinestone Headband was worn by 16 year old singer Jacquie Lee during her show stopping performance of “Cry Baby” on Episode 522 of NBC’s “The Voice,” which aired Monday, December 2, 2013. The rhinestone headband sparkled in the stage lights and perfectly complemented Lee’s Bead Embellished Two Piece Set Gown, designed by Sherri Hill.
The Astare Headband came into the hands of The Voice’s wardrobe style team when it was included in a selection of jewelry and accessories presented to the team for consideration of use by California-based The Artisan Group® as part of its Stylist Gift Bag Initiative.
Melissa Ahonen, designer/owner, BBT Style, was not aware the rhinestone headband would be worn by Jacquie, but quickly made the realization when the camera cut in for a close up of the singer. “I didn’t have that much time to react in the moment, because my phone was ringing instantly,” laughed Ahonen. “In retrospect, I’m very excited and humbled that The Voice would choose my headband to use given all the accessories they have at their disposal. It’s one of my favorite designs and Jacquie Lee showed it off to perfection.”
The Astare Headband is part of BBT Style’s Dazzled Style Collection. Ahonen describes it as a full rhinestone headband with four large leaf shaped pieces that are finished with a black velvet lining. There is also a thin elastic to ensure a “comfortable and perfect fit.”
The headband retails for around $32.00 and is available to purchase at bbtstyle.com.
Ahonen says she designed the headband to be versatile enough to wear with a variety of outfits and for a different occasion. “I have had customers tell me they will be wearing it with jeans and a nice top to a concert and then I recently had a customer from Kuwait order one as part of her bridal ensemble.”
BBT Style hair accessories are in the hands of The Duck Dynasty cast, Selena Gomez, Josh Duhamel and Fergie, Debby Ryan, Miranda Lambert, Lauren Conrad, Allison Schmitt, Denise Richards, RaeLynn, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Diem Brown, Hilary Duff, Suri Cruise and Jessica Alba’s daughter Honor, who paparazzi have photographed wearing BBT Style on several occasions.
BBT Style has also partnered with ex-The Voice contestant Adley Stump to create the Adley Stump Style Collection of couture headbands and her Flower Power Thick Style Headband was worn by actress Nia Peeples in Lifetime Movie Network’s indie firm, “Dark Desire.”
