Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) August 13, 2013 -- BEC Legal Systems today announced the appointment of Douglas Geller to the role of Director of R&D and Product Management. Geller will manage the development, support, and marketing efforts for BEC’s CoreRelate and its related modules.
A legal software professional with more than 20 years’ experience, Geller previously held the product management role for several solutions at Aderant. In addition, Geller founded GDSI, a software and consulting firm dedicated to custom solution add-ins for legal document management systems. Geller sold the company in 2011 to iEnvision. Prior to GDSI, Geller was a systems architect for MDY, concentrating on document and records management solutions.
“Geller has a track record of successfully leading teams, evangelizing his products, being an advocate for clients, and managing large software solutions,” said Laurie Danford, principal and Director of Software Development at BEC. “Having Doug on board will allow our company to grow and move our software to a new level. We are excited to have Doug and tap into his experiences.”
Geller started his new role in July, 2013. Geller will be reporting to the principals of the company, and will oversee the development efforts of the BEC CoreRelate framework, as well as the MatterLink, Docket, and LegalBar product lines. “I am so excited to be part of this incredibly successful company as well the BEC CoreRelate family of products,” Geller said.
