Bellucci Premium Comments on the Success of “New Olive Oil Days” in Croatia, an Event Dedicated to tasting Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) November 25, 2013 -- Bellucci Premium makes a statement on the success and educational value of the “New Olive Oil Days” event in Croatia, following an article that detailed the agenda of the 3 day event.
According to the Olive Oil Times article published on November 21st titled “‘New Olive Oil Days’ in Vodnjan, Croatia,” the ninth annual event was hosted by a small town named Vodnjan. The event included olive oil tastings, educational lectures, culinary workshops and food tastings prepared by chefs, restaurants and caterers.
The event included a bar where visitors were able to taste over 200 samples of extra virgin olive oil provided by 80 producers. There were also guided tastings where visitors go on a tour to learn more about the tasting and assessment process, says the article.
The article shared how the educational part of the event was led by lectures “whose aim was to improve and support competitiveness and development of olive oil producers.”
Among the gastronomic aspect and educational part of the lectures, workshops were also introduced. These workshops educated visitors on the preparation of certain meals that contain olive oil and how to pair certain dishes with the right type of olive oil.
“An event such as ‘New Olive Oil Days’ is a great example of how to educate consumers on the value and properties of extra virgin olive oil,” says Natalie Sexenian, the marketing manager for Bellucci Premium. “Hopefully the visitors of this event learned to determine a quality olive oil and will pass on their knowledge to other consumers. I’m also excited to see what the tenth annual ‘New Olive Oil Days’ event will offer next year in terms of lectures to visitors.”
Bellucci offers three different types of oil, including an organic option, with a mild peppery flavor and fruity undertones that will satisfy any palate. Bellucci Premium Toscano extra virgin olive oil uses olives that are grown on the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany, and maintained by 3rd and 4th generation farmers. The third type of oil Bellucci produces is the finest 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, grown in many different regions of Italy.
