La Fogata is featuring a new tequila for the month of January. Tequila Espolon is the exciting new tequila now available at the restaurant. La Fogata’s bar crew has created some great drink combinations with this excellent tequila.

The Skinny Margarita is made with Espolon Silver Tequila, agave nectar, fresh lime juice and a splash of orange juice. The Blood Orange Margarita contains Espolon Reposado Tequila, blood orange liqueur, triple sec and fresh lime juice. The Spanish Margarita is made with Espolon Silver Tequila, fresh lime juice, agave nectar and bitters topped with ginger beer. Customers can also try the new Espolon Añejo on the rocks.

The tequila tasting table will be ready for customers to sample any of the new drinks from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17.

The Tequila Espolon isn’t the only featured item at La Fogata this month. The kitchen has prepared Pozole Verde Stew as the featured entrée for this month as well. This special dish is from the state of Guerrero in Mexico and is made with chicken, hominy and garnished with cabbage, radishes, onions and cilantro. It is served with tostadas and is a great option for the cold weather.
