Oneness Fragrance Team Lists the Nuances Behind the Fragrances of the Stars
(PRWEB) July 28, 2013 -- Shawn Rae’s Team looks into the elements that make up fragrances enjoyed by the famous.
It’s interesting to delve into the minds of the stars by examining the scents that they tend to favor. What elements, if any, do they have in common and what do those elements impart about the wearer? Are they fascinated by floral scents or exotic spices, or do they use fragrances that have a bit of both? This commentary will take a quick look and examine some of the notes of some of the fragrances that society’s favorite stars find special, and see what they have in common and how they may differ.
Some iconic ladies will be looked at first along with a few of the tabloid's favorite men. Princess Diana favored Diorissimo, a romantic fragrance from the 50’s. Diorissimo is said to be fresh and clear with one of its top notes being lily-of-the-valley. When the favorite fragrance of Audrey Hepburn, L’Interdit is looked at, it is interesting to find that it also contains lily-of-the-valley as did Marilyn Monroe’s Chanel No. 5. Lily-of-the-valley adds a common note to all three signature fragrances and a sweet scent to them which was enjoyed by these three women. Elizabeth Taylor’s signature scent, White Diamonds, also used some floral notes however they were not quite as sweet. One of Oprah Winfrey’s often used scents, Lovely, uses only a few florals in a more discreet manner.
Flowers are generally used throughout the perfume industry, yet it’s interesting to note that the fragrant elements associated with sensuality are used even more consistently among the favorites of the stars. Amber and/or sandalwood are elements that are contained in every single fragrance mentioned above. Woody notes, patchouli and musk are added elements in a few of them. These elements are those parts of the fragrance that would be considered the bottom notes, those scents that will linger the longest on the nose as the day or night wears on. They are deep and sensual and have a lot to say about these beautiful and sensual leading ladies.
Some of the men that eyes have been on lately are Prince William and George Clooney. What can their favorite fragrances say about them? Prince William, among the young men of today, favors Polo by Ralph Lauren, a very masculine fragrance with absolutely no floral scents within its make-up. It is said to have grassy and spicy elements with some added notes of leather, wood and tobacco. George Clooney on the other hand prefers, Green Irish Tweed by Creed, a classic fragrance that is rich, fresh and sporty. Green Irish Tweed does use a couple of floral scents as background notes along with lemon verbena, ambergris and sandalwood. These are two very different fragrant blends for two very different men. It can be considered interesting to see how two fragrances being so different could both still be classified as being classical.
All these observations show some similarities among the stars, but demonstrate the personal nuances that a fragrance holds for its customers. Since each scent may linger long after the wearer is gone, what memory or impression would you wish to leave about what it says about you? Therefore, it is important before choosing your fragrance or perfume to ask yourself the question, how does your perfume make you feel?
