In “The Heirloom” (published by AuthorHouse), author Beth Adet’s new thriller, readers join Carol Parker as she revisits her past to find the murderer of her husband.
Sam Parker is the owner of Warrior’s Path, as well as a loving and devoted husband. But, when he uncovers some news about his wife’s childhood, he finds that his two “best friends” and business partners, John and Peter, are hiding something. As he continues to dig deeper into her past, he is visited by the FBI. With their help, he confronts his best friends. This, however, ends in tragedy when Sam is later murdered.
Carol finds herself alone and defenseless after his death. Hoping to glean some answers, she begins looking into her husband’s murder. Her journey leads her to the secrets from her past that changed her future forever. As Carol continues to dig up the truth about the inheritance she did not know belonged to her, the picture of who killed her husband becomes clear.
