Carl V Bini Memorial Fund Bikers For Bini Event Anticipated To Draw Over 7,000 People on Sunday August 25th
New York, New York (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- The Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund, a Staten Island based non-profit organization, is gearing up to host the largest event of the summer on Sunday, August 25th at The Staten Island Mall. The event, Bikers for Bini, will feature a musical performance from former NY Yankee Center Fielder Bernie Williams, a motorcycle run with over 1300 participants, a classic car show with more than 300 already registered, live monster truck racing, food, vendors, musical performances on two stages, a Harley Davidson Motorcycle Raffle and more. Proceeds raised from the event will directly benefit The Carl V Bini Memorial Fund and its mission.
“The response we’ve received is overwhelming and truly humbling at the same time,” said Massimo DiDonna Chairman and President of The Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund. “It’s taken months of preparation and we could not have done it without the help of our local businesses, our sponsors, our board members and of course our partnership with The Staten Island Mall. It’s going to be the perfect way for families and individuals alike to close out the summer while simultaneously supporting a local charity, and we encourage everyone to attend.”
In addition to the activities throughout the day, The Memorial Fund also announced late last week that the Rescue 5 Fire Truck, which responded to the terrorist attacks on 9/11, will also be on display, making this visit the trucks' first back to New York since being decommissioned in 2011.
Tickets to the event are available in advance and at the door. To enter for a chance to win free general admission tickets, please text the word BINI to 313131. A winner will be notified via text every 24 hours.
