New P.I. Novel from Bill Moore Tackles White-collar Crime
ALBERTA, Va. (PRWEB) January 17, 2014 -- Bill Moore introduces a new kind of private investigator novel that doesn’t focus on the traditional violence seen in the genre. His new book, “Sam Buck: P.I.: The case of Corporate Invaders/Raiders” (published by AuthorHouse) instead captures a tale of white-collar crime.
“This exciting and educating story teaches readers that hostile takeovers can sometimes be avoided if the ones at the top will pay more attention to their subordinates,” Moore writes.
Moore introduces readers to the lovely Diamond Cassidy, an American business owner in Atlanta, Ga., who hires a private investigator of Native American heritage, Sam Buck, to look into some wrongdoings at her company. Diamond thinks her husband, Jeffrey, is spearheading a conspiracy to take over the company her father left her.
It’s a case of national security concerning U.S. government contracts and a challenge for Sam – there’s more to this case than an egotistical husband and his conglomerate. With the help of his assistant, Rose, Sam takes the job, leading them all on a thrilling adventure.
An excerpt from “Sam Buck: P.I.”:
“It has become increasingly apparent that there would be significantly less hostile confrontations in the world if people would master the seemingly complex task of thinking before they speak.”
