Biocoat, Inc. Partners with Adam Spence on an Integrated Solution to Streamline Development of Reinforced Catheters for Vascular Procedures
HORSHAM, Pa. (PRWEB) August 21, 2018 -- A new strategic partnership between Biocoat, Inc. and Adam Spence, a Spectrum Plastics Group Company, will streamline the process of producing catheters used in vital vascular procedures, such as angioplasty, bypass surgery, fluid drainage, and other essential treatments.
The partnership allows Adam Spence’s innovative reinforced catheter shafts to receive Biocoat’s industry-leading hydrophilic coatings. The two companies have also committed to sharing expertise on the development of new products to improve patient experiences.

Biocoat will apply and test its low-friction HYDAK® topcoat on these products at its nearby Horsham, PA facility. The two companies will share expertise in coated delivery systems – from development through full commercialization.
