Business entrepreneur, Steve Feeney, owner and founder of Birmingham SEO agency, Essential Marketer, will be one of the keynote speakers at the forthcoming National Franchise Exhibition which is taking place on 14-15 February at the NEC, Birmingham.

The ‘Growing Your Own Business Showcase and conference, part of The Franchise Exhibitions, is a great opportunity for successful entrepreneurs to share their knowledge and experiences with conference delegates, most of which are deciding whether to take the plunge and run their own business.

Steve adds: “This is an exciting opportunity to share realistic insights and experiences of my own; from the young shoots of a new business through to its development and growth into a flourishing business and how to deal with challenges along the way.”

With a background in computer science and an infectious passion for all things digital, Steve saw a gap in the SEO market that other companies were missing, and in 2008 formed Essential Marketer with a handful of employees. From these humble beginnings based from an office just outside of Birmingham, Essential Marketer has grown to the business it is today with over 20 employees serving an impressive 200+ client base in the UK and beyond.

Steve’s following in the footsteps of successful well known entrepreneurs like Karren Brady, currently Lord Alan Sugar’s left hand woman on the BBC’s Apprentice, Stelios Haji-Ioannou from easyGroup and Nick Jenkins from to name a few who were previous keynote speakers at this popular event.

“I’m often asked about the most rewarding aspect of owning my own business and my reply is always the same.
