Norwalk, CT (PRWEB) December 10, 2014 -- The holiday season is here, and Stepping Stones Museum for Children has many holiday happenings planned to help everyone get into the spirit of the season.
Saturday, December 13, 2:00 pm
Around the World Performance: Sweden — ABBA Girlz
Join Stepping Stones for the ultimate ABBA tribute band! Enjoy classic ABBA covers with full costumes and choreography. The ABBA Girlz duo is a blast from the past sure to delight the whole family.
Wednesday, December 17, 12:30 - 1:15 pm
Music Time: Suzuki Babies
Join Stepping Stones for Suzuki Early Childhood Education Classes, with Gretchen Grube of Talent Education Suzuki School (TESS). Suzuki Babies is where song, creative movement, familiar nursery rhymes, percussion instruments and lots of joy work to develop a child’s musical ability. The class is for children ages 3 and under with an adult. Fifteen students max. It is free with admission, but tickets are required from the welcome desk. There is limited space.

North Pole comes to Stepping Stones
Santa and his friends Frosty, Reindeer and Penguin will be flying in to spread holiday cheer! Bring cameras to capture the magic.

Handbell Performance
Enjoy the sounds of the season during an enchanting holiday handbell performance by Shelton's Trinity Lutheran Church Bell Choir. Free with museum admission.

School Vacation Week
Kul Aktiviteter – Each day brings a new Swedish-themed activity. Kul aktiviteter means fun activities.
Stepping Stones has a few schedule changes for the holiday season. These changes are as follows:
• Early Closing: Wednesday, December 24, 3:00 pm
• Closed: Thursday, December 25 for Christmas
• Open: Monday, December 29 for Vacation Week
• Early Closing: Wednesday, December 31, 3:00 pm
• Closed: Thursday, January 1 for New Year's Day
• Moved: Get Into It! free moved to Thursday, January 8 (instead of January 1)

Stepping Stones will be making this special delivery over the holidays to Norwalk Hospital and Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital. Stepping Stones is located at 303 West Ave., exit 14N or 15S off I-95 in Norwalk. Museum hours are from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday from Labor Day through Memorial Day, and Monday through Sunday from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
