Black Sabbath is currently tuning up their instruments for a North American tour entitled The End, which will consist of nearly 2 dozen shows beginning in late January and running through late February. Tickets for shows at the Tacoma Dome, United Center, SAP Center, The Forum, Sprint Center, Bell Center, Mandalay Bay Events Center, Palace Of Auburn Hills, Target Center, Pepsi Center are now on sale online at or charge by phone toll free.

Three of the four founding members, including iconic rocker Ozzy Osbourne, will be leading the charge in this final run of shows that will stretch from coast-to-coast. The band recently parted ways with longtime drummer Bill Ward, but a worthy replacement will be commissioned.

For the band that essentially invented heavy metal, a final tour is certainly bittersweet. Many fans have grown up watching them perform their dark and gripping live acts, so to know they will be taking to stages all over the country for the final time is a bit sad. Black Sabbath will certainly be looking to sign off with a bang, and likely be upping the ante as the tour goes on.

After the tour begins in Omaha on January 20, it will make its way to Chicago for a performance at the United Center on January 22. A January 25 stop at the Target Center in Minneapolis will give Sabbath fans in the great northern state an opportunity to experience their greatness one final time.

Fans out West should ready themselves for early February shows at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington and the SAP Center in San Jose, California. A Sabbath show scheduled for The Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles, on the evening of February 11 will be one of the biggest of the tour, as will be a show at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas two evenings later.
