Superior Small Lodging Assoc. Announces Second Blogger Road Trip
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) July 23, 2015 -- The Superior Small Lodging Association (SSL) announced today that it will be holding its second Blogger Road Trip for travel and lifestyle bloggers from August 17th through September 21st at participating SSL properties throughout Florida.
This past May and June 13 travel and lifestyle bloggers took part in the SSL 1st Blogger Road Trip and visited 19 participating Superior Small Lodging member properties across Florida to rave reviews from hoteliers and bloggers alike.
Participating, bloggers have been enthusiastic about Superior Small Lodging member properties and are anxious to return for a look at another part of the state. An example of a typical blog post from the first Road Trip can be found on the blogger website “Life With 4 Boys” .
Hoteliers who participated have been thrilled at the very positive press that they have been receiving and at the bookings that they have generated. “This was a wonderful opportunity to trade a couple of vacant room nights for some great articles and third party testimonials that I can use on my website and in my social media marketing to promote our property. What other people say about us is always more important than what we say about ourselves,” said Russel Dion, owner of Manhattan Tower, a boutique hotel in Fort Lauderdale.
The Road Trip series is designed to introduce travel and lifestyle bloggers who blog about travel in Florida to the Superior Small Lodging brand. SSL is an association of approximately 170 small independent hotels, inns, B&B’s, cottages, luxury condos and vacation villas across the state of Florida that have less than 50 rooms. Many are 1 or 2 bedroom suites with full kitchens or kitchenettes. The properties are individually owned and managed with each innkeeper dedicated to giving his or her guest personalized attention and an authentic Florida travel experience.
Since every member must be inspected annually for cleanliness and guest services the Superior Small Lodging brand has come to represent the “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval” for small properties in Florida. When booking a Superior Small Lodging property travelers can be assured that they will receive an authentic Florida experience with local Florida charm and character and the modern amenities and comforts that today’s traveler has come to expect.
During the Road Trip each blogger will be hosted at a participating SSL property for two (2) nights. Destinations include: Fort Lauderdale, The Beaches of Clearwater/St Pete, St. Augustine, Melbourne Beach, the Florida Keys, Daytona Beach, Sanibel Island and more.
